Terms of Use

Last updated: February 2026

Using MacroChef

By using MacroChef you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please stop using the app.

Not medical advice

MacroChef gives general nutrition guidance based on the numbers you enter. It is not medical, dietetic or clinical advice, and the calorie and macro figures are estimates, not prescriptions. Always speak to a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet — particularly if you are pregnant, under 18, recovering from an eating disorder, or managing a medical condition such as diabetes.

Food safety and allergies

You are responsible for checking that every ingredient and shop-bought product suggested is safe for you to eat, and for cooking it properly. Brand suggestions are examples only — always read the label, as ingredients and macros change.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the app, scrape its content in bulk, or use it to do anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Our content

Recipes, meal photos and the app itself belong to MacroChef. You are welcome to use them for your own cooking, but not to republish or resell them.

Availability and changes

We work to keep MacroChef available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update features, recipes and these terms over time; continued use means you accept the updated terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, MacroChef is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its nutrition estimates. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
